Kayla's Cause

Kayla was a happy and healthy 18 month old girl when she unexpectedly passed away.  Kayla was found unresponsive after taking a short afternoon nap.  The cause of Kayla's death continues to be unknown however it is often classified as Sudden Unexpected Death in Childhood (SUDC) or Sudden Unexpected Death in Pediatrics (SUDP).

Kayla is remembered as always being happy and smiling.  She brought so much love and light into other's lives.  Sunflowers has become a symbol of Kayla, as they remind her parents of their daughter being so beautiful, vibrant, and full of life.  Sunflowers are a symbol of the sun, always bright and always shining, just like Kayla.
